Parent-Teacher Organization

Did you know you do not need to be a formal member of the PTO to volunteer or attend meetings? If you have a student at EMS, you are already part of our community.

We offer many ways to participate:

• Work from home: Support our projects even if you cannot come into the building.
• Evening and weekend events: Join us outside of traditional school hours.
• Independent tasks: Help out on your own time with quiet projects.

• Committee chair: Lead a volunteer team for an event or fundraiser.
• Event volunteer: Help during specific events throughout the year.
• Member-at-large: Attend meetings and provide feedback on projects without a formal title.
• Board positions: Serve in leadership roles such as president, treasurer or secretary.
